We are on the lookout for a dynamic, detail-oriented and experienced Attorney specializing in Real Estate to join our team! The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of real estate transactions, offering legal guidance, and ensuring the legality of commercial transactions.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment, with a focus on high-profile real estate and commercial property matters.
Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice on a range of real estate matters including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, and financing of commercial real estate properties.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of real estate agreements and contracts such as purchase agreements, lease agreements, and financing agreements.
Conduct due diligence investigations in real estate transactions to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
Represent and advocate for clients in disputes and litigation involving real estate matters.
Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff within the legal department to ensure the best representation for our clients.
Keep clients informed by maintaining contact and communicating case progress.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, and work to develop new business opportunities.
Stay current with industry trends, laws and regulations to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the state bar is required.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate law, with a strong background in commercial real estate transactions.
Demonstrated experience in drafting and negotiating complex real estate contracts and agreements.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and tasks simultaneously.
Familiarity with real estate software and MS Office Suite.
High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
Excellent judgement and ability to interpret laws and regulations.
Proven track record of client-centric service, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
Strong research skills and the ability to handle complex legal issues.
