Euless Plant Materials, Planning and Logistics Coordinator
Job Summary
Ensure all material and hardware is on-hand to meet the production schedule through planning of material movements between the Fort Worth plant, vendors, and galvanizer. Initiate shipments and supporting documentation and ensure ERP system is accurate and documentation is shared for approvals and processing.
Duties and
Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Track shipments to and from the galvanizer and maintain daily galvanized shipment spreadsheet
Primary contact with galvanizer facility including planning, scheduling, shipments, expediting, shortages and damaged parts
Create purchase orders for material and hardware per the production schedule, expedite as necessary, follow up with vendor on discrepancies, maintain the ERP system and ensure timely document flow for approval and payment
Planning and scheduling final product shipments with the customer
Create Bill of Ladings
Coordinate all material transfers between Fort Worth and Euless facility
Maintain and document yard inventory of Material in Storage
Deliver/pick-up small items for shop production as necessary
Minimum job requirements:
High School diploma/GED. At least 2 years in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and abilities required:
Candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills, be an independent worker, self-motivated, require limited supervision and have excellent organizational skills.
Candidate must be detail oriented, problem solver and follow through issues from discovery to resolution
Candidate must be capable of using Microsoft Excel and Word and have experience working in an ERP system
Candidate is a team player and able to build and maintain both internal and external relationships
Conditions of Employment:
Successful candidate must submit to post offer, pre-employment physical examination/medical history check.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
